Locum Doctors
From time to time we employ locum doctors to cover for periods of partner absence. These doctors all have passed the MRCGP exam and we try to use the same doctors. We encourage you to see these doctors and not to wait for the return of your own doctor.
Nursing Team
Our practice nurses are available every day. The nurse may need to consult a doctor about your problem if your condition requires it. Our nurses are qualified to deal with minor injuries, dressings, ear syringing, leg ulcers, sprains, BP checks, cuts, vaccinations (and advice), children’s immunisations (we provide a full immunisation service for babies and children), cervical smears, etc. They run Well man and Well Women clinics and help look after patients with long term illnesses, including asthma, heart disease and diabetes. They can organise tests for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol and many other conditions and can offer advice on diet, healthy living, alcohol, smoking, minor illnesses and family planning.
