Bereavement

Losing someone you care about can be incredibly difficult. Grief affects everyone differently, and there is no “right” way to cope.

Support is available for anyone experiencing bereavement, including:

  • Emotional support and counselling

  • Peer and community support groups

  • Practical advice for managing arrangements and legal matters

In the Merton area, there are a range of services to help you through this difficult time. Speaking to trained professionals or joining a support group can make coping with grief a little easier.

Remember:

You don’t have to face bereavement alone. Help and guidance are available, whenever you need it.
