Cancer Support

A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, not only for the person affected but also for family and friends. Support is available to help you cope with the emotional, practical, and physical challenges.

Services in the Merton area include:

  • Emotional support and counselling

  • Peer support groups

  • Practical advice on treatment, care, and daily living

  • Guidance for families and carers

Remember:

You don’t have to face cancer alone. Local organisations and professionals are here to provide support, information, and reassurance every step of the way.

  • We have a comprehensive library of information on all aspects of cancer. We offer emotional support, complementary therapies and counselling and run a Managing the Cancer Experience course twice a year. Our New You image workshop gives tips on clothes, shopping and make-up to help you gain confidence when you need it most.
