If you become ill while away from home, or if you are not registered with a GP but need medical care, you can receive emergency treatment on the same day from the local GP practice where treatment is considered immediate and necessary.

Our doctors are happy to see patients who are temporarily staying within the practice area if medical advice or treatment is needed. If this applies to you, please inform reception that you are a temporary resident when you arrive.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This allows you to receive care from our practice while remaining registered with your permanent GP. After three months, you will need to either re-register as a temporary patient or register permanently with the practice.
